The direct coupled spindle drive system on the DNM Series has minimal noise, vibration and thermal growth thanks to the absence of gears or belts inside the spindle head body. The powerful spindles bring plenty of torque and feature productivity-boosting rigid tapping.

There’s a reason we employ BIG PLUS spindles in the DNM Series: flexibility. You have the option of using BIG PLUS certified tool holders that give you simultaneous taper and spindle face contact for that added rigidity, accuracy and, most importantly, improved tool life and surface finishes, plus interchangeability with existing standard tool holders.
SO CHILLY
The DNM Series maintains its accuracy thanks in part to the spindle chiller—a refrigeration system that circulates cooled oil around the machine. As a result, thermal effects of any heat generated by the machining process are greatly reduced.
