LYNX WITH MILLING

BASE CASTING
To guarantee rigidity, the base on the Lynx is a one-piece, heavily ribbed meehanite casting with 30-degree slant bed.

MAIN SPINDLE
The chuck size ranges from 152 mm to 254 mm, and spindle speeds range from 3,500 to 6,000 RPM. The sub-spindle available on the Lynx 2100LMSB spins at 6,000 RPM.

GUIDEWAYS
Compared to ball guideways, the roller LM guideways on the Lynx have 44% more rigidity.

TURRET
The 12-station/24-position servo-driven turret indexes bi-directionally at 0.11 seconds, and it has 6,000 RPM milling capability for rotary tools.
