ADD Y TO THE X/Z
Get complex parts in one setup.
As wonderful as X/Z HTCs are, the two axes mean you can’t get certain cuts. But with the integrated Y-axis on the PUMA 5100, drilling, grooving and radial cuts on the outer diameter of the bar are possible. So are drilling, surface milling and radial cuts on the end surface of the bar, as well as off-center machining capability.
IDEAL FOR OIL AND GAS
Industry-friendly features.
When designing the PUMA 5100, the maximum bar diameter was maximized to take on the larger workpieces found in oil and gas. Plus, CNC control features like spindle speed override, arbitrary speed threading and threading repair functions easily handle common oil and gas issues.
