PUMA V8300
BASE CASTING
Made from fine grain meehanite casting with solid box way design, and offers maximum rigidity under extreme load. Dampens vibration, has long-term accuracy. Right and left spindle versions available.
SPINDLE
The 2,000 RPM spindle is powered by a 50hp motor and has 1,912 ft-lbs of torque for heavy duty turning. Two speed gearbox construction reaches full horsepower at 128 RPM. Chuck size range is 15" - 28".
WORK ENVELOPE
The PUMA V8300 has a cutting area of Ø32.6" x 30.7", and its maximum allowable part weight is just shy of one ton, at 1,918 lbs.
TURRET
The PUMA V8300’s 12-tool capacity, high torque, bi-directional, servo-driven turret has a fast index time of 0.25 seconds. The V8300M model offers milling capability with the BMT75 turret, with rotary tools milling at 4,000 RPM.
AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER
The PUMA V8300 series offers an optional, 12-station automatic tool-changer capable of storing tools with a max diameter of 3.54" and a maximum tool length of 14.7". Ideal for jobs that require longer tools that would typically mess with your workpiece.
