INNOVATIVE TOOL HOLDER
The PUMA VTR W-axis gives you lower center-of-gravity cutting, and the ram tool on the machine can accept the indexing quad tool holder. The holder is equipped with up to four tools that can index in 90-degree increments. It’s an innovative solution, and it slashes cycle time.
W-AXIS FLEXIBILITY
There are two types of VTR machines: fixed cross rail or elevating cross rail. Should you choose elevated cross rail, you can adjust the W-axis height in just a couple steps to work on higher profile parts, or parts where you need to get the cross rail as close as possible.
